Aurora is a stunning dark black and tan female. She is one of two superstar's from
this litter. See her sister Alaska's page for the other one. Aurora is our latest
conformation dog. Her headpiece is a ten, (or so I've been told by several judges
and handlers). She has perfect ears and gorgeous dark eyes with a mischevious
twinkle in them. Aurora has fluid movement and is clean coming and going with a
balanced fore and hindquarter. She has very strong and thick bone, yet maintains
the petite size of a typical female-as she is only 63 pounds.
Aurora completed her CGC at only 9 months of age and has proven to be a very
intelligent dog just like her mother. She learns quickly and easily and is a joy to
train. She is continuing to do conformation shows and will be continuing her
obedience work. She also loves agility and is excelling at the challenge. Aurora
earned her TC (temperament certification) awarded by the GSDCA in April 2010.
Aurora has OFA good hips, normal elbows, normal heart, normal thyroid, and has
been tested for DM (degenerative myelopathy). She earned her Rally Novice (RN)
in April 2011 and her Novice Agility Preferred in August 2011.
