Ayla is a beautiful example of what a German Shepherd should be. She is a small to medium
sized female with exceptional bone. She has good depth of chest and nice, tight feet like her
dam, Aurora. She has an effortless, reaching side gait without any wasted motion, with great
follow through. She has a strong headpiece with a thick muzzle and dark brown eyes and a
strong jaw. She has an elegant neck, thick, plush coat, a short strong back and midsection
with good spring of rib and nice short hocks.

Ayla is one of the sweetest dogs to live with. She is eagar to please and although can be
energetic and playful, she calms right down when not in working mode. She loves to give
hugs and snuggle with her head in the nape of your neck, but she can also be a good guard
dog as well. She can be aloof at times, but warms up and trusts quickly. She is the type of
dog anyone would feel confident walking with in an unknown area, and she has had excellent
protective instincts from only 6 months of age.

Ayla has had success in the conformation ring from a very early age-placing in the 4-6 month
puppy group ring, taking several best puppies and a Puppy Herding Group 1st. She also
earned a 3 point major at the tender age of 8.5 months, all owner handled!! She is now a year
old and maturing nicely. She took a major reserve at 14 months as well. Ayla earned her 2nd
major at 19 months of age going Best of Breed!! She currently has 14 points including both
majors towards her Championship! We are hoping to be able to add Champion in front of her
name very soon!!

Ayla is currently working on some obedience and rally training and has been competing and
exelling at agility. She earned her Canine Good Citizen at 14 months of age and her
temperament certification at 17 months of age. She also has earned her Herding Instinct
Certificate! She likes the sheep, just like her mom, Aurora. She is currently competing in
open and excellent levels of agility. Ayla whelped her first litter of 7 pups on September 27,
